I got a pitch letter from someone I’ll call Mary Jones who said she was “on John Smith’s. team.”
She said he would resonate with my podcast on magic because he talks about the magic of storytelling. He was affiliated with big brands.

My podcast on magic was a warning against promising magic to your clients, not about the magic of storytelling! And my audience consists of solopreneurs, who should not be following the actions of Big Brands. So John Smith’s money was being completely wasted.
