Every so often I get an email that really offends me. The sender assumes I’m an idiot.

Or I read an article with good information…but every other word is “should.”

“You should send emails daily.”

“You should eat healthy food.”

“You should allow for people of all shapes and sizes.”

I’m a rebel. My first impulse is to say, “No way.”

Or people dumb down the idea…which often means they dull it down. It’s frighteningly boring to read.

As you probably guessed, the answer is to add stories to your content.

Most of us create content with the goal of providing information. We have expertise in an area and we want to share via blog posts, email messages, webinars, and courses.

But straight information doesn’t mean “dull it down.” And there are ways to wordsmith your content so people will enjoy reading it … and you’ll be smiling to yourself as you write.

In this podcast episode, I share 3 ways to use stories to make instructional content fun for you and your readers…with examples and stories! Click here to listen.
