You meant to be kind but you were being presumptuous. Not everyone likes or needs tea and honey...for all you knew, she was on a special diet and couldn't eat honey. And maybe she wasn't feelingi that bad; between the time she dropped her son off and the time she picked him up, she might have taken an analgesic and been feeling just fine.
